Constant unresponsive pages/scripts etc

I am constantly frustrated by unresponsive pages / script warnings etc using Firefox. This never used to happen on previous builds -- I am using the latest 86.0 -- but these occur so often that I am about to say goodbye to Firefox. This does not happen when I am using Chrome and other browsers.

I have been through all of the suggested steps to deal with these unresponsive script/page issues, and none has worked.

Would appreciate any help on this, but as I say I am about to leave Firefox at this point for Chrome and other browsers.

Thanks in advance...

v86 is the beta version, and betas are prone to problems.

Yeah, well this problem is not just with the latest Beta -- but has been happening for months now with other builds.

I have disabled the Honey extension which I suspect may be causing part of the problem.

What sites are you having issues with? Maybe we can replicate the issue?

Attaching just a few of the unresponsive screenshots here. Multiple sites this happens on, so impossible to pin down just a few...

Wow, thanks -- but going through this process seems like water torture. Don't have these issues at all with Chrome and other browsers, so I may say goodbye to FF at this point until someone realizes this is all just crazy!

Just as a test why not try another windows account and then try Firefox without signing into your Firefox account and see what happens.

I recognize you're classified as a Top 10 Contributor and you've probably worked hard to achieve that ststus. However, this reply needs more context for those of us who don't blindly follow instructions on the internet. Could you expound a little by sharing the thought process behind performing these actions?

Sometimes there is a problem with the current profile. A setting or add-on or whatever. By creating a new virgin profile, if the problem is gone, then we know.
