Instant autohide on fullscreen?

more options

I recall that when entering full screen for YouTube videos and whatnot, the address bar would instantly hide, much like how it does in Edge and Chrome. This no longer seems to occur with FireFox. I have ensured that auto-hide is enabled in about:config, and the problem persists in private windows with all add-ons disabled. The address bar only actually hides after interacting with it, such as right clicking on it and back onto the video.

See top of attached image.

Any help is appreciated.

Chosen solution

Changed permissions.fullscreen.allowed from the default of false to true, and it seems to have solved my problem.
