Any chance that there could be an American language setting? I am English, but when I choose 'English' I get American spelling.

In Options/Preferences on the 'General' page, under the heading 'Language', you can choose English (United Kingdom).

What language is this about ?

Is this about the language for the user interface or about the language (dictionary) used for spell checking ?
