Problem Updating Thunderbird

more options

Hello,

I've been using Thunderbird for several years now and update the program whenever updates become available. Up until recently, the update process goes smoothly, but lately I've been having a problem. When Thunderbird restarts after the update, all my folders are missing and Thunderbird no longer recognizes my accounts. I'm currently using 60.9.1 and trying to update to 68.12.1 (64bit).

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.

update and then go to the troubleshooting information on the help menu. Click the open profile folder button Close Thunderbird. Delete the file global-messages-db.sqlite See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/rebuilding-global-database

Restart Thunderbird. If I am guessing right all should be functional.

Thank you for your reply. I updated Thunderbird as directed, but when Thunderbird restarted after the update, clicking on the "troubleshooting information" from the help menu did nothing. Therefore, I couldn't select the "open profile folder button." Any other suggestions?
