Unable to connect to some Twitter sites

Whenever I use my Firefox browser to click on a Twitter site, I get the follow message, shown as an example:

"Oops. The site at^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author has experienced a network protocol violation that cannot be repaired. The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected.

   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."

This does not happen with non-Twitter sites, and in fact, not all Twitter sites, but it does happen with the majority of Twitter sites. Is there an adjustment I can make to my Firefox browser?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions, James (

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Hi James,

Please read this article to see how you solve the issue.

Also, I'd recommend to remove your personal email (for some reasons, I can't do it from my end) from your original question since this is a public forum (please read our Forum Rules and Guidelines here)
