How do I stop firefox from using current location on websites?

I recently moved to the Netherlands, and now every website I access is in Dutch.

My question is: what should I do if I don't want Firefox to use my current location on every website I access? Because every website I access is in Dutch, and the .nl domain is everywhere, even after I changed my google region settings to another country. I also tried turning off the location for Firefox, but that didn't work either.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I assume all your browsers encounter the same difficulty.

This is a challenging problem because it is very common for websites to localize content based on your IP address. Often you can override that by clicking a language button in the page, but then you have to wait for the reload. Your IP address is something you can't change using a setting, you need to use a VPN service so that your connection is attributed to a different network.

Mozilla has launched a VPN service in partnership with Mullvad:

However, I don't think there is a free trial to see whether it's the right approach. If you want to try a VPN for free (first 500MB), you could take a look at TunnelBear: https://www.tunnelbear.com/pricing

Also, each localized build of Firefox may have its own preferred language setting, so you might want to check that, too: Choose display languages for multilingual web pages.
