Making Firefox my default browser

I had Firefox set as my default browser, then Windows did an update and now when I click on the apps, Firefox option isn't there. I've tried several methods.

There's a more complicated way to get Firefox to appear in the list of apps, but the far easier way is to reinstall Firefox. That usually makes the necessary changes to get Firefox to show up on the list again. You may need to restart your computer after to see the changes.
