speed on fire fox

I do not get the speed I should which is 150Mbs since mid April this year I was gettin the speed before Then i changed to chrome and when I test the speed is 185 Mbs everytime. Right now I have reinstalled the fire fox and tested with both Ookla and fast.com both are giving a reading of 37.6Mbs on the fire fox and 184 on the Chrome. I do like fire fox but if the speed is not there then i do not want to use it. I am not good at this computer stuff so if there are any instruction please use simple terms, also I am too old to learn . thanks stay safe
