Addons suddenly not working

My addons just stopped working all of a sudden. Dedicated Firefox user for 8 years and never had this happen. Tried disabling and re enabling history, reinstalled Firefox, reset settings to default, enabled Addons to work in Private Windows, searched Firefox Help, searched Reddit. The Addon sliders are enabled - so why isnt it working. Irritating and the constant barrage of Youtube ads make me want to bash my monitor in.

So, that looks like a problem with extensions storage that encounters an unknown error.

You can check for issues with local storage.

You can create a new profile as a quick test to see if your current profile is causing the problem.

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
