Virus in distibutive - Trojan.Inject.bcbj

Posted

Hi all

For security reasons, all new FF distributions are tested. When checking the distribution kit version 68.5.0esr (exe for x86 and x64) - the antivirus software "VirusTotal" detected Trojan.Inject.bcbj. FortiSandbox also scolded the distribution on x86 - saying that it deleted the file "% programfiles (x86)% \ google \ update \ 1.3.33.17 \ googlecrachhandler.exe" - its installation is undesirable in the ESR version.

GoogleCrashHandler.exe is an executable file that belongs to Google Updater https://www.bing.com/search?q=googlecrachhandler.exe

Are you getting your Firefox from Mozilla.org ?

Make sure your virus scanner files are up to date.

I know what is it But why ESR has it and other version has not it (if it is true). Our organization reject to use any cloud or google services by security policy And was or not GoogleCrashHandler in oldest versions - because test didn't has error early
