Firefox newbie here. I have many .mht files (saved from IE11) that do not seem to open in Firefox.

As a newbie is there something I need to add into Firefox first to make these mht files load?

I shall shortly be changing to Windows 10: will that solve the problem?

Unlikely. This is IE-only format.

Thanks for your comment.

I realise now that most files that I have previously saved in mht format were from Wikipedia so in future I'll save them as pdfs.
