How to permantly disable container tabs
I don't like "container tabs" as new containers do not populate the user ID and password fields. Despite setting privacy.userContext.false this is reset to 'True' each time I restart Firefox, which is a pain in the arse. Before I move over to making Chrome my default browser, is there a way to permanently disable container tabs?

- type about:addons into the URL bar
- locate 'Firefox Multi-Account Containers'
- click the 3 dots > remove
Unable to see any "Firefox Multi-Account Containers" addon
I did have the Facebook container, despite disabling this and restarting FF, has not resolved issue.
If you visit about:preferences, under the 'General' section, does it show an information box with the text 'An extension, xyz, requires Container Tabs.' ?
Nope (FF version 69.0.2 (64 bit).
Note that the correct pref name is (just in case others stumble upon this thread):
- privacy.userContext.enabled
- privacy.userContext.ui.enabled
