Is it possible to make YouTube videos open in a new window and not overlap other windows?
If there is an extension, then tell me the name please.
Chosen solution
These extensions seem relevant but I haven't tested them myself:
- https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/popup-video-webextension/
If you try them, please report back on how well they work for you.

Hello Sergey,
I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about, but what I just tried :
I had a window open (with a few tabs); pressed the Shift key and opened YouTube (you can also open YouTube in a new tab; then hold the Shift key and click the video you want to play). Then I pressed the Windows key on my keyboard and the right arrow key, which moved the YouTube window to the right half of the screen. Clicked on an empty space on the left window; pressed the Windows key again and the left arrow key this time.
But when I just want to listen to background music while working on another tab/window, I start on YouTube; click the video(s) I want to hear, then click the minus button at the top right, and open the tab/window I need to work on.

This makes YouTube half the screen and shows the entire tab, but I need to have a small window with a video.
I misconstrued again - sorry ..... :(
I hope that someone else will come up with a proper solution for you.

Yes, thanks! Иut the video does not start from the moment when I opened the window. This is bad.
