I don't want my emails sorted by attachments but by the date received. How can I fix this?

All my emails with attachments are either at the top or the bottom of my inbox. How can I fix it so the emails are arranged in the order they were received?

Chosen solution

Click the Attachment button on the Quick Filter Bar (under View/Toolbars; press Alt if the Menu Bar is hidden) to show messages with attachments, then click the Date column button to sort in ascending or descending order. If you don't want to view just mail with attachments, omit the step with Quick Filter Bar.
