I cannot see the number of finds in a single message search. I mean in the bar at the bottom of the message. It should say at the end of the bar something like -- 1 of 10. I think it is a sizing problem--the search box looks too long to me. I use this all the time and wish it could be fixed. I updated FF, TB and NVidia today and have restarted my programs and my pc.

Hi and thank you for your attention.

I want to create an extension for Mozilla Thunderbird that implement some sort of black list. It is possible to create filter rules for mails and I want to add a button which create filter rule for selected address. These rules are stored in msgFilterRules.dat file and I could manually edit it but only when Thunderbird is closed.

Is there any way to manipulate this file with some sort of API or WebExtensions?

Hello,

I am unable to attach or save attachments under Thunderbird 78.13.0 (64-bit) ubuntu-snap-build - 1.0. It could be an operator self-inflicted issue since I was able to do so comfortable months earlier. In the interim I had to hop over to a browser based popular service to attach/save attachments. Needless to add (but nevertheless I will!) this predicament is becoming inefficient.

There is an archived post on the issue at [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1268926] but since my value for the parameter is already set to false I don't know what other parameters require inspection. Please advise. Thanks.

Kind regards.

I've got the latest TB version 78.14.0 and just recently started using YubiKey with a number of online accounts. I'm trying to set up the key to work with TB for my gmail account, and would also like to set it up with my comcast account which also uses YubiKey. However, all the guidance and so-called instructions I find are either for an earlier version of TB, or are how to "fix" the issue from prior versions when upgrading to V78. So are there any instructions anywhere on how to set up a Win 10 TB installation of version 78.14.0 to work with YubiKey for a gmail account? I can't seem to find anything that current.

I am using Thunderbird version 91.1.1 that I just installed on a new MacBook Pro. I have used Thunderbird for some time now, and have a Saved Search folder that I have set up previously. Today when I went to set up the Saved Search folder, the dialog gets locked up in a state where the only thing I can do is quit Thunderbird from the Menu (see attached image for the state it's stuck in). I have isolated it to specifically when I select folders in the dialog ... I was able to create the saved search folder by not changing the search folder selection, but if I go into that dialog when I exit it after making a selection it gets into this locked up state. I assume it is a bug, unless it's waiting on me to do something (which I cannot figure out what that might be?)

After several search around, I found above guidance. Hope my share can help you to quickly find out the wanted folder among hundreds of your folder-tree. Good luck. Peter Quan.

I'm looking for a way of making filter execution simpler.

I have five IMAP accounts. I use the Unified Folders inbox to view them. For each account I have a set of filters that I want to run manually. Please note that I do NOT want to run any filters automatically.

The way it is now, I have to: 1. Select Tools > Message filters. 2. Select one of the accounts from the top drop-down. 3. Shift-click the filters to select all of them (why is there no Ctrl-A support in this list?) 4. Click Run Now. 5. Go back to 2. and select the next account.

Needless to say, this get old quickly. Is there an easier, more elegant way of doing this?

Thanks!
