Not seeing photos enbeded in emails
I get emails from MASTGAR@LISTS.UMN.EDU. Some of these emails have photos imbedded. I can not see or open any of the photos. I have tried Outlook.com Mozilla Firefox email clients. I have tried Windows 10 Edge, Internet Explorer As well as Firefox for browsers. If I email myself a photo from another computer I can open & see it. Some of the emails from MASTGAR@LISTS.UMN.EDU contain hundreds of lines of what I call code

The first couple of things to check: if the images are hosted on remote servers, they won't be shown unless View/Message Body as is set to Original HTML, and make sure remote content from that address or domain isn't blocked in Tools/Options/Privacy/Mail Content.

A picture of my g'daughter came thru fine when I opened it in my online Xfinity account using Firefox. I prefer to use Thunderbird. So, I downloaded that batch of email, but when I tried to open the pic, I only got half the pic. The part w/ my g'daughter was covered with a gray screen -- as tho it was preventing suspected child porn. There are some other things that make T'bird less user-friendly since its last update, too. I think I'd like to go back one version.
