Okay the thing was * Shockwave Flash 32.0 r0 as an answer but no direction. Does this mean this is already installed because that is what the box said it was in. Or does this mean I need to download this???

Wow... thank you so much to whoever is helping me. I had no idea. I have an entire blocklist there - I entered the Shockwave thing recommended in my search bar of my start menu and viola. It is nasty. Now what do I do with it? I had thought (and still am dubious) there is/was a remote access user on my system for a while but it seems to have calmed down a bit. Scary it's calmed down too...

I uninstalled the block list but this was an old version of firefox - I will go on there right now but then I have to go since this is daytime here and I have much to do today.

Yes well this is what happened yesterday and previously. It is now working and has downloaded the video from Netflix I tried to watch last night. The exclamation mark icon still says the same information: there is blockable content on this website and the third thing down is that I have not granted any permissions for this website. The difference is the damn little TLS handshake thingy is not there atm so it's running. It has done this numerous time before where literally during the day (when I need to be job searching and returning phone calls etc it will look like it's fine) then when I want to watch it I can't???

Okay... hello. Thank you to McCoy and PJ for being so kind as to help me today. I very much need to get back to my job search. I am thinking it might have worked - we will see. I deleted the block list under shockwave I didn't know was there - accckkk. And then I went in and managed my preferences to add Netflix under the options site under the search bar like was suggested. This is all the daytime time I can give to this so I really appreciate it... a little break and you two made it nice actually so thank you.

List all your Plug-ins and their version numbers and dates. There should be at least 3 Plug-ins (See image).

Make sure the Shockwave Flash is up-to-date: 32.0.0.171 is the latest version.

Also, there was Add-ons/Plug-ins/Themes problem over the weekend which made these things stop working. It should be ok now with FireFox Version 66.0.4.

Check to see if your Flash Plug-in is the latest:

Latest Adobe Flash Version (32.0.0.171).
In the FireFox Browser, go to Menu > Add-ons - Plug-ins and click on the Shockwave Flash Options to check the Flash version.
Flash seems not to Automatically Update, so you need to keep a regular eye on these for Updates. (Flash Support will end in FireFox at some point down the road.)
You can update Flash from your Anti-Virus Program's 'Software Updater' area (Avast can do this) or on Adobe's Website:

Upon having an older version, go to step 2 on Adobe's site (the link referenced above) to download the latest version:
Note : UnCheck the boxes for the additional sponsored software that is offered on the download page if you do not want it also installed.
