hp Envy 4522 stopped working with the last update. Works with all other web browsers and apps

This printer works well with all other programs. SEt up for wifi. Stopped working with the last update of Firefox. This includes pdf files, email and web pages. Works fine in microsoft edge (same pages).

Did you try a test print preview to see if the browser sees the printer?
