Can I swith a tab from private browsing mode to normal mode but keep all the information?

Posted

I opened a tab in private browsing mode, but the site I was couldn't save on private browsing mode. It had something to do with the flash. I can't just re-open the tab on normal mode because the stuff I made would be lost. Is there any way I can switch the tab without losing the information?

No, right now, tabs in private windows cannot be moved to regular windows, and tabs in regular windows cannot be moved to private windows.

It's difficult to think of a solution for this, because the whole point of private windows is not to let sites write data to the hard drive. Downloading would work, if the site has an option to download your data. Or I guess printing, but depending on the form, that might not work well. Or a screenshot, if that's all you've got. Otherwise, copying from that form and pasting into the same place in a regular window...
