Hi JLhillhouse, does this one install and work for you?

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/new-tab-homepage/

(Note: I can't test it because it can't load file:// home pages like mine, only http: or https: home pages)

sorry, didn't work

Pressing Ctrl plus the Home button doesn't open your

Home Page?

For me, Control-Home just scrolls the page to the top. Control-End takes the page to the bottom. That's what these key combos have always done for me... scroll to top/bottom of pages.

Button, as in toolbar, not key. On Windows:

  • Home button => home page in current tab
  • Ctrl+Home button => home page in a new tab

Help me understand why not just click the 'House' icon to go to your Local Page? Why would anyone want a local page come up every time you open a New Tab?

LoL! Why didn't ya say that in the first place? (Grin)

Holding down the Control key while clicking on the House icon works, and takes you to a 'Local Page' if it's setup with 'Homepage and New Windows'.
