How dare this company pop out of nowhere saying donate, wanting money, and not working if you don't give them any. Is that how things are going to start working now? Capitalism over everything on the planet? I got plenty use out of that add-on, but they can kiss it where the sun doesn't shine for interrupting what I was doing, and force me to pay or disable that add-on. The nerve! They shouldn't be saying donate, then. It is not a nonprofit if they're forcing people to pay. That is for profit, and they need to put up a pay site, like any other product-based company like that.

Hi, don't know which ad-blocker you are referring to, but in any case, it isn't a Firefox issue. You need to leave feedback on their site - for example, if it's Adblock Plus, on here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/

I suggest you instead try https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!

That link did not address what happened, James and as I said to AdBlock, the pop-up blocked access to the page I was on. I had to close the tab to get rid of it, and it blocked the page so fully, I forgot what was in the tab. I have a lot of tabs open with my browser on a 27" curved-monitor.

Pretty crappy way to solicit donations, and do NOT block my pages for that. Send me an email, and let me decide how I will or will not support the product. Being intrusive, like that, was obnoxious. Now, you can mark this as solved if you want to, but that was obnoxious as well, because you paid no attention to my complaint.

I couldn't find the website at the time, but it was just AdBlock 3.20.0 (getadblock.com). It was still worth mentioning what happened yesterday. They need to find another way than blocking my entire page in that manner.

Report them for an abuse.

Btw. uBlock origin is much much better.

Thanks. I'll give them a test-run, and I did report it as abuse, because it WAS!
