Hello, As many other users, I rolled back to ff 60.2 since september 2018 and disabled auto-updates... So, as the title says, is the bookmark description field back yet ? If not when is the next release planned & will it retrieve this old, basic & important feature ?

Hi, I know it is missed by many users, but no it isn't back, and since it's just been removed, there isn't much chance in the near future - if ever.

This is the best option as a substitute https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bookmark-notes/

You can check release notes here https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/releases/

You can check the release calender here https://wiki.mozilla.org/Release_Management/Calendar

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues. Most of us on here are just other users like you, and have no say in Firefox development.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!

It's going away... forever. I left a FeedBack on why can't a separate Bookmark program be developed, even if it's isolated from FF.
