I can import everything else from Chrome fine with Chrome closed, but as soon as I try to import saved passwords, everything hangs up. Leaving the process going for long enough results in an Unresponsive Script warning in chrome://passwordmgr/content/passwordManager.js:244. Continuing does nothing, only resulting in the warning again in several minutes, and stopping the script doesn't make Firefox start responding again.

I can post output from my browser console, or any other logs needed to diagnose the issue. Just let me know what to capture and I'll get it uploaded.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Line 244 seems to be about sorting password entries if I check (open) this file via the location/address bar.

Does anything come up in the Browser Console if you set this pref to true on the about:config page?

  • signon.debug = true

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.

This is the error at the bottom of a very long log containing personal information from Chrome. Let me know if you need me to sanitize and post the rest of the log.
