DO NOT LOAD TABS UNTIL I VISIT THEM ?
Hello, can I know what should be the new firefox behavior when we launch it with many tabs opened ?
My firefox quantum loads all tabs, and there is no more an option to avoid loading tabs until we visit them.
I also cannot find a plugin to achieve this. Any help ?
Thanks a lot.

Did you check these on_demand prefs about:config page?
- browser.sessionstore.restore*demand
(you can skip services.sync.prefs)

You should change your settings. Unfortunately if you have the tabs to be loaded options it will load them all. Maybe you should make bookmarks of them instead to lessen system resources.
Hi, have you looked at the 3 Session Managers in this list ? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/search/?platform=windows&q=Session+Manager
As for your 1st question can not tell you, never ran a session in my life on any browser.

Please follow the above by opening a new tab than Copy/Paste about:config in to the Address Bar then Enter. Continue on. The top of the page you get has a full width search bar enter : browser.sessionstore.restore into the Search look for Demand at the ending. Mine is set to False. Double Click to Change this to True or False. Try True, Restart Firefox and Test. If not doing what is expected, go back and reverse it.
Report back please.

3 settings were already set to TRUE
browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand browser.sessionstore.restore_pinned_tabs_on_demand services.sync.prefs.sync.browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand
So why, when these 3 settings are set to TRUE, firefox loads ALL my 30 tabs when I launch it, and not only the one on which i am currently ?!
Thank you again if you can reply to this simple question.
When you set Firefox to start up using the startup option "Show your windows and tabs from last time", Firefox will normally load tabs "on demand": tabs will be created for all the tabs in the window, but only the last active tab (the currently displayed tab) will have its content loaded.
It should work the same way if you use Firefox's "Restore Previous Session" command on the application menu.
However, if you are using an add-on to restore your previous session, it may not work the same way.

Thank you so much.
All settings are set to true, and still, firefox loads all tabs when I launch it.
Maybe you are right and the reason is that I have a BACKUP SESSION addon installed.
I will try to disable it to test.
Thank you again.
