Overnight, somehow, my bookmarks, got split into various places. I can't find a way to combine them all in one place. I'd like to simplify that.

They're in a couple different folders, the ones I use most, of course, are not with the others. It is a large folder that I tried to copy and paste into the right spot. Didn't work. Some are under Bookmarks Toolbar, some are under a Firefox folder, I have two of those. Main reason is at one point I had to uninstall the browser, when I did, I reimported the bookmarks from another browser and ended up with a mess. Which I'd like very much to simplify and get everything in just one place again. Any ideas on how to do that? Thanks! I've included a snip of what it looks like from the history library, can't use the snipping tool to grab the actual look, but this IS what the situation is. :^)

Chosen solution

Hi, do away with all the other ways of getting to bookmarks and use the original way by turning on the Menu Bar. From Customize go to bottom of page and turn on the Menu Bar or mouse to top of Browser and right click and turn on Menu Bar.

Drag and drop.

Use a Bookmark Manager : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?platform=windows&q=bookmarks Can search for more.

I do have the File, Edit, etc. on already. Always do. One of the reasons I dislike Chrome and Opera so much is they don't have one any more. Old school. And I use it. That's how I access my bookmarks.

And that worked perfectly. Thank you very much.  :^)

Hi, Welcome. If you want you can edit the HTML once exported in a HTML Editor. Just have to be aware of where folders start as can not edit, well can but is difficult. Be sure not to add anything and that the editor does not add any stuff as it is a plain HTML code.
