Awesome bar does not show history. Firefox Quantum
Firefox (new one, quantum) was working well. Abruptrly (no updates, changes or anything), the bar stopped showing entries from the history. It does show search suggestions and bookmarks, but not history.
I tried stopping all plugins - did not help. I checked the database folder - it is not read-only. The history library is present and seems fine, but it is not shown in the bar. Any ideas except for complete reinstall/(called refresh)?
Thanks, Nikolay

Hi, Please consider turning on send info to Mozilla from with in Firefox before posting a question. This helps us help you. I have no info from your system that would help see things that cause issues such as Extensions.
So I gather that you have checked your Settings in Options --> Privacy and Security --> Address Bar and that Browsing History is checked....
Is almost that a Refresh would possibly fix the issue.
Can try this to see if the problem is not there in Safe Mode : SAFE MODE
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Safe+Mode
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:
- all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
- default theme is used (no persona)
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
- default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
- Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
- hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
- plugins are not affected
- preferences are not affected
TEST''''is issue still there ?
You can give this a try as it is not a Refresh and does almost the same but all your settings are still there after and takes maybe 7mins : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 59.0.2 with a Full Version Installer
Or it is your Profile : Make a new one and test ...:
If is your Profile :
