Error when loading videos from CNN
I keep getting the following error when CNN tries to load a video: "Could not load the manifest file. Make sure the source is set correctly and that CORS support is enabled."
Not sure when this started. Does NOT happen with Chrome.
Thanks!

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Safe Mode worked (Thank You) and reminded me to check the add-ons. The first one I disabled -"Disconnect" - resolved the issue. Thanks very much!

Thank you for contacting Mozilla Support.
I also get error: "Could not load the manifest file. Make sure the source is set correctly and that CORS support is enabled." on my iMac v 10.13.4, using Firefox Quantum v60.0.2 64-bit. Does not happen with Safari browser. I’ve restarted Firefox in Safe Mode and I do not see the problem then. I only have Webroot Filtering Extension which is now disabled. I use the Default Theme. I have just 3 Plugins: 1) OpenH264 Video Codec 1..7.1 provided by Cisco (and auto-installed be Mozilla), 2) Widevine Contect Decryption 1.4.8.1008 by Google, and 3) Shockwave Flash 29.0.0.171 which is set to “Ask to Activate”. It seems I should be able to have those items. Or, what do you suggest I remove?
