how do i block social media widgets

Every stinking webpage has those awful social media widgets. I cant stand them. I am the antisocial. I hate that i have to ask but please tell me how to get them removed. None of the adblockers seem to work.

Installing an adblocker would be the solution. But you'd also have to install a filter list, otherwise an adblocker won't do anything.

Using Adblock Plus in connection with 'Fanboy's Social Blocking List' should do. There are other filter lists you may want to subscribe to. https://addons.mozilla.org/android/addon/adblock-plus/ https://adblockplus.org/en/subscriptions

None of the adblockers seem to work.

Not really a useful statement. You'd need to explain what you did in more detail.
