Open custom new tab page on startup

I just switched to firefox (from chrome) and was customizing it, I got an extension called carettab, which shows a custiomised new tab page, but I have not found a way to make the carettab page to open up upon browser launch. Is there a way to make this possible?

Hi, You will need to go to the 3-bar menu >Options (General) and set 'When Firefox starts' to 'Show your home page.' Also, under 'Home Page' delete what is there, and paste in the URL of your add-on.
