Had to reinstall Windows and Thunderbird, how to get address book

After a Windows 10 crash I had to reinstall Windows and Thunderbird. I tried install the More functions app but don't think it worked, I was able to download it and unpack it and then it disappeared and I am still not able to import the old profile which I placed in a new folder labeled Thunderbird 2 next to the original Thunderbird folder. I need some assistance. Please
