I want to delete the forwarding message box when replying to an e-mail

I can delete the text from the forwarding message box at the top of the response to an email, but the box is still there, so sometimes my text can only start several lines down in the email. I would like to get rid of the box itself?

Firefox doesn't 'do' email, please see this article  :
