Since I had a problem with Defender I used McAfee. this has deleted my options menu. How do I get it back?

I am a Windows Insider and had a problem with an update that stopped defender from working. I went to McAfee for virus protection and it removed my options menu from Thunderbird. How can I get it back?

I don't know what an "options menu" is. Can you provide a screenshot of what you do have? Then maybe i or someone else can see what might be missing.

Thunderbird has both menus and toolbars.

Use alt or F10 to make the traditional menu appear. Then use View|Toolbars and tick the checkboxes for the features you want.

McAfee had removed the 3 bars that allowed me to get what F10 does. Now I just need to turn F10 off:).
