every link I click on is re-directing me to another page?

It just started after installing the latest firefox. It opens a new window and it says firefox has prevented redirecting to a different page and I have to close the new window and the link I was going to is now on the old page where I clicked the link. It has become very annoying and I would very much like to know what to do. I've been on Firefox for almost 30 years now.

Well that's totally annoying. Could you make sure the redirect block is turned off:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste access and pause while the list is filtered

(3) If the accessibility.blockautorefresh preference is bolded and "modified" or "user set" to true, double-click it to restore the default value of false
