can't make forefox my default browser; done the steps https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1172782; still firefox doesn't show up
I have done the steps mentioned in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1172782; but still firefox does not show up in the list of possible browsers

Somewhere in system-settings i found the option to set per app which files you would like to handle by each specific app. (it is in the section to set defaut apps, and then choose "default app per app" Then you can select firefox, en then which files you want to handle by FF. various were allready linked to FF, others to Edge. After i linked all to FF, FF was my default browser :-)

And what O/S are you using? When you installed FF you also had the option to make it the default Browser did you not see that?
I´m using Windows 10.
I don´t know if i have seen it during installation. Anyway, during startup of FF it asked me again to make FF my default browser. Which i did, but than I got stuck.
What do you mean, 'got stuck?'

"Got Stuck" = FF didn't show up in the list of browsers that could be selected.
