First off FF doesn't change unless malware or toolbars were installed that caused the change or some other software install that you agreed to that stealth install that changed the URL. So FF by default doesn't change this and you need to do some backtracking to see what was installed and look at your add/remove options to see what was installed that didn't exists there before to see what is going on. But I will iterate FF by default doesn't change URL on a clean install it goes to a Mozilla site and only changes when the user changes the default HomePage url.
