I uninstalled the 32 bit version originally when I moved to the Quantum version in 64, I at first thought it was after each update , but I discovered it just reverts on its own. Is it possible that something remained and interfearing when I originally uninstalled the 32 bit version

Thanks for you thoughts having and removed Firefox from my pc and reinstalled 64 bit version in cleaning the registery I noticed evidence of the 32 bit system still existing despite having been uninstalled previously. And for the moment alls functioning correctly with clean installation.

It sounds like the same problem I'm having only I get both installed on my system. I only want x64 version; but, every Firefox update it installs both the x86 and x64 versions of the browser. I'm using Windows 7 x64 Enterprise build 7601.
