passwords lost when new firefox loaded, how can I recover them?

All passwords, and other security info as well as all bookmarks lost when I loaded new fiirefox. How c an they be recovered?

Were you using any password add-ons?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?
