Why does this General Settings option not exist in latest version: "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"
I noticed some pages redirecting after downloading version 57.0.1, not sure which version it changed in, but I need this option. I checked General Settings and the option does not exists anymore.

It is not a warning issue, the option does not exist in my settings anymore and now with the latest update it reset to allow reloading and refreshing. I check about:config and it is set to blockautorefresh to true. However, I find no config option to set reload. Regardless, why should the option now be mission in the general settings and have to search to make a change in about:config for something that has always been there?
Small correction, I just hit a page where I got a warning. So, why do some pages redirect without a warning? Example. www.google.com has always given me a warning, now it redirects without warning to www.google.co.nz
That is the main reason they removed that setting from the user interface (Options) and there were also cases where the redirect was blocked, but no notification was shown. This warning only works for a few versions of the redirect (e.g. redirect via meta tag) and not for others like a server redirect (301,302).
In Firefox 56+ the "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page" setting can no longer be found in Options/Preferences.
You can modify this pref on the about:config page to enable or disable this feature

Fair enough, but why do some pages refresh or reload that never did this before my update, and some pages give warning and others do not. They had to change something besides removing the setting from general settings, mine was working fine but now it is broken.
