In Firefox 57 is there still no way to disable the F12 shortcut key?

This has gotten beyond old(how many years has this simple question been asked?), but I take it there is still no way to disable the F12 shortcut key? None of the add-ons I use to use work with 57 and I haven't seen any new ones. Any suggestions?
