Ublock origins not blocking Facebook suggested posts, keeps reappearing
Got firefox 57.0.1 Ublock origin does not block "Sponsored post" or "people you may know", and they keep popping up after I zap them with the zapper function (lightning bolt), as soon as I scroll the page. Anyone else having problems now?

Facebook adapts to all the ad-blockers then ad blockers make changes. Wait for the next update or try running 2 not alike blockers, maybe Ghostery.

Well I had 3 ad blockers running, and slowly eliminated each one, trying to find out if they were interfering. Nope.. None of them were.
Guess the real solution will be to just leave facebook. Its becoming so saturated with unwanted garbage that there is hardly any room for the news feed, and I know for a fact they are blocking feeds from some groups.
Sorry was my best thought on that from what I have read.
Never use it, do not like being spied on.
Give it till one of those updates or can try to force a update from the Extensions page from the gear icon.

well it worked for 2 days.. now everything is getting thru.. no idea what is going on.. Suggested posts, Sponsored posts (all spam).. Newsfeed missing articles from groups I am part of..
No idea, suggest googling info regarding adblockers and Facebook, see if can find anything with a near current date.
oh....fyi: NVIDIA GeForce 210 Drivers will be a year out of date next month.

uBlock Origin doesn't block anything! The filterlists that you subscribe to carry the "filters" that do the ad actual blocking. Or via the "blocks" that users set in their installation.
As websites change or add "things" which users don't want to see, the filterlists need to be updated with new or changed filters to compensate.
uBlock Origin uses the "standard" AdBlock Plus filter lists, which are updated automatically and frequently. Like every 3 to 5 days, I think I read at one of the filterlists websites? https://adblockplus.org/subscriptions

Nonsense! A MB that old wouldn't run WinXP, much less Windows 7.
That date is probably the first TradeMark date for that BIOS or a ServiceMark date. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Registered_trademark_symbol

Looks like that MB is probably from 2009. No bearing on your stated problem.
No response the what I posted here? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1191978#answer-1045876
Have you looked at your uBO blocker filterlists? Do you have the "Social" blocker Anti-Facebook List from FanBoy installed? Or Fanboy's Social Blocking List installed?

Just updated to the latest driver.. dated 12-14-2016.. guess my video card is too old.. oh well.
Well, still getting "sponsored" or "suggested" stuff on FB.
Never ending battle. Only way to win it seems to be to pull the plug.
For the most up to date info on blocking Facebook annoyances go to this link, the mods and users are on top of everything, but FB keeps changing our attempts to block their annoyances. None of my filters in ABP are working for FB now!
