Try using this please : https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Flash Player Version: 27.0.0.187 Current Version https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, Win IE . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>

See if you can update your Video Card Drivers also NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS They are 10mos old and there is a few errors in them Try to keep updated as old drivers cause issues.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Normally Flash is installed under the Windows folder, and the Flash installer lists it in the Windows registry, and Firefox finds it there. So I'm not sure what you deleted from about:config.

As the first stop, could you check the Add-ons page? Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Plugins. On the right side, look for "Shockwave Flash" and change "Never Activate" to "Ask to Activate".

With this setting, when you visit a site that wants to use Flash, you should see a notification icon in the address bar and usually (but not always) one of the following: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an infobar sliding down between the toolbar area and the page.

The plugin notification icon in the address bar typically looks like a small, gray Lego block. When the page wants to use a blocked plugin, the icon turns red to alert you to the concern.

If you see a good reason to use Flash, and the site looks trustworthy, you can go ahead and click the notification icon in the address bar to allow Flash. You can trust the site for the time being or permanently.

But some pages use Flash only for tracking or playing ads, so if you don't see an immediate need for Flash, feel free to ignore the notification! It will just sit there in case you want to use it later.

If Shockwave Flash is not listed on the Add-ons page, Plugins list:

@jscher2000 thank you but

Yes I already did this, and my problem is that I deleted the plugin WITHIN the about plugin folder (The location that was written under flash and/or shockwave, on the about:plugin page)

No Icon when I go to the "test flash" page by Adobe

I did the steps that are in the thread you showed me because I have already searched for a solution prior asking my question, but nothing worked --->

plugin.reg --- changed to plugin.old to restore the file -----not working same for -- plugin.scan.plid.all ----- its set to true

Right now I will uninstall flash again and install it back again, just in case

But last time reinstallation did not added the plugin into the list of plugin in firefox, and flash has not integrated into firefox but it has been integrated into Chrome (The reinstallation worked for chrome but not for firefox)
