When I attempt to send an email i get the error message shown in the first uploaded image. I am using Thunderbird version 57.0 and have the 64 bit version of Windows 7. This was not a problem with earlier versions of Thunderbird. The setup for the outgoing STMP is shown in the second uploaded image. I origonaly had the port set to 25 and when this didn't work I changed it to 587, the default port. Occasionally, a message will be successfully, but this is the exception. I talked to Time Warner support and they claimed that Thunderbird is not fully supported, which seems strange because until recently it worked flawlessly.

I have heard that whoever owns RR/TWC these days is turning off the RR named servers. They seem to have better luck using TWC named servers. Too bad the support people were not helpful or knowledgeable enough to suggest that.

Here is their email settings page. https://www.timewarnercable.com/en/support/faqs/faqs-internet/e-mailacco/incoming-outgoing-server-addresses.html

I gave using the TWC smtp server. I have switched to the mailjet server. When I use this, it uses ssl encoding for the password. I have saved the password to the password manager. When I send a message it prompts for the password. I respond by copying the password from the password manager and the message is sent. If the password is correct in the password manager why doesn't it accept it from the password manager?
