I tried to Refresh Firefox and it never completed the refresh.
After 15 minutes of seeing 'almost' done or there, I went to Explorer and signed in again. However all my bookmarks and passwords are not available. There is a folder on my desktop 'Old Firefox Data' which is read only. Help me restore my old Firefox, if possible.

It is possible that security software (anti-virus, firewall) is causing the problem. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.

Let's start with rebooting the computer. Sometimes things go wrong during a refresh. Next question. Is your Firefox working? Is the data there or missing?
Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?

My problem is fixed! Yay! Somehow Firefox continued to work in the background and my bookmarks and passwords reappeared. Thanks
That's good to hear. Well done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem so others will know.
