Firefox automatically adds a SETTINGS tab. I want to turn this off. I can/do go to the upper right Hamburger to get this functiion.
Would be able to shut-down w/o multiple clicks if this function is deleted.

You can check the home page setting and make sure that about:preferences isn't included.
- Options/Preferences -> General -> Startup: Home page
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-set-the-home-page
Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.

Can you provide any information about that page? The settings page is called about:preferences
