where is the "back" selection in the right-click context menu? I should not have to move the mouse to the top of the page to go back one page.
Why did you remove "back" from the context menu? What is it with you people? You get used to something for years, and suddenly one of you get a "new" idea to change things. IT'S NOT NECESSARY! Work on more important stuff. Now you've aggravated me to the point of probably switching to another browser. This is one of the primary reasons why I do not update and will not allow FF to auto-update with no idea of what changes are made. And no warning is ever given. Just "for security, you should always use the latest version" like adobe flash going through all these updates "for security". It really means they can auto-package a new tag-along-useless-piece-of-bloatware again that you must deliberately find and uncheck. Oracle is of the same mindset with Java updates.....gawd....
So how do I add "back" to the right-click menu?
And you may think moving the mouse a little to click a back button seems unimportant, but be reminded that screens are getting larger and larger as time goes on. Having to cover that added real estate for a movement is distracting if anything.
Geez Louise.....Just because people see changes in the menus does not give them the warm-and-fuzzies that you guys are busy working on updates. Whats behind the curtain is much more important than how the curtain hangs.

Text for Back and other text menu items was replaced by images a few years ago. "Back" and "Forward" are images, along with "Reload current page" and "Bookmark the page".

Hi
I am using a pre-release version of Firefox 57, due in a couple of months. I can confirm that going backwards one page has been added to the right click context menu.

It appears that it is now as you've said, it is an image, but the only image there at the time I wrote that was ONLY of the reload image, and the favorite image, now there is also the forward arrow and back arrow image. It could have been a script from a web page but I thought those items could not be altered/removed via a http browser script i.e. from a web server....surely not possible in this day and age of hype regarding security....
Note that you can use Classic Theme Restorer to replace the icons by text labels.

This add-on will stop working when Firefox 57 arrives in November 2017 and Mozilla drops support for XUL / XPCOM / legacy add-ons
As a footnote, if you are keyboard shortcut person, Alt+Left Arrow goes Back, and Alt+Right Arrow goes forward. (Assuming those choices are available.)
