IN *MODERN* FIREFOX, how do i turn on javascript after turning it off a few weeks ago?

I uninstalled Firefox over this issue, being tired of its constant interface changes. I don't want changes. I want a reliable tool.

So I issued some command in the upper bar--whatever it's called now, I'm merely a humble statistician--and now I can't find a way to undo this. I reinstalled Firefox (this time telling it no updates) but javascript is still off.

This is just a mess. If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it.
