Ok, so I was doing some work, and it happens that I need to look for informations outside my country. I dabbled a bit and found how to change my homepage from FR localized google to US localized.

But it's a bit annoying to always having to go on the homepage to search for something, you loose track sometimes of some interesting links. So I tought of adding an new search engine to the search bar, having the US google and not the FR one. Fact is, firefox doesn't seem to have any way to enter a new engine as, let's say chrome do. Since I prefere Firefox to Chrome I'd like to not change brower if possible. I'm not looking for that about:preferences#search since it doesn't allow me to add what I want but rather give me a list of modules in wich I can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

So to resume : Search bar engine localized on US search, anyone ?

Chosen solution

You can look at the Mycroft Project website for more Google search engines.

Note that I can add things like youtube or what else via the little + sign on the search bar, but when I on google US it just doesn't want to.
