I constantly get a popup stating that I need to install a "firefox-patch.js" I know that you do not do patches. How can I stop this popup?

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/

(There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good add / pop-up blocker.
