Malwarebytes antivirus install causes retart issues with Windows 10

My HP desktop has Windows 10 with Firefox browser and works very well. I decided to install Malwarebytes for added protection and the searches through Firefox cause full screen restart messages to appear and automatically takes me back to the beginning Wallpaper scene. I uninstalled/installed Malware and it works. Please advise. Thank you
