Please email me an address where I can email you 3 files that MSE thought looked suspicious. These are cache2\entries files. What are these files anyway? Can I delete the ones that MSE thought looked suspicious?

Cheers DrBill

I think that current Firefox releases compress files in the disk cache, so they can contain any kind of data.

You can see the Firefox cache usage on the about:cache page.

You can clear the cache if you are still concerned after reading the above posted knowledge base article.

"Clear the cache":

  • Firefox/Options/Preferences -> Advanced -> Network -> Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

You may have to refresh the page (F5) a few times to update the numbers.
